Both Computer Science Engineering Department and Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, make Linux resources available to students for classroom, homework and research use. Consoles are available for desktop use, and remote access (including full remote desktop access) is also available.
With the help of the Computer Science Engineering Department, we have deployed an ECS Linux computing lab in C27 of the ITEB building. This lab is open to all students in Computer Science Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering. Additionally with the help of Computer Science Engineering an array of headless (remote-access-only) machines are made available to students and researchers as well.
With the help of Electrical and Computer Engineering, we have deployed an ECS Linux computing lab in C25 of the ITEB building. This lab is primarily to be used for VLSI design applications like Cadence.
