Each member of the School of Engineering is given 10GB of enterprise grade file storage. This means it is fast, reliable, backed-up, has built-in version control, and is available from Windows, Mac, and Linux. Additionally, group storage is available in 100GB shares to researchers and departmental staff.
How to Access
When you login to a Windows computer using your engineering username and password, you will have an H: drive automatically created that provides access to your 10GB of file space. Through ECS Linux, the drive is mounted as /home/username. Other methods for accessing your files storage are detailed below.
Shared storage for research and administrative purposes will be granted on request. Faculty and staff needing this storage should submit a ticket to the SoE help desk here or send email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
